Red Fire- 2007 Mustang GT/CS
Got Lucky today..Some other poor bastard got .
As the title says, I got WAY lucky today. Running late for work, I crested the 405 overpass to 525 offramp at 74 mph plus... There's signs all over saying Speed Laws STRICTLY enforced..
I hit the apex of the overpass and there's a Statie with Radar Gun Pointed at oncoming traffic..namely me.. I cringe and say "SHIT" You know that feeling when you KNOW your busted..I see him reach for his shoulder mic and I see the guy I am passing look over with that shit eating grin..
As I blow by this LEO.. There's no where to go / hide / etc.. I see THREE Staties with Lights on on the side .. Crap... I slow down... ALL of them have someone pulled over.. WOOT..my offramp is 150 yards ahead of the farthest one..I accelerate back up to 65ish ( Posted 60) and pray I can escape.. I see the lights on the farthest one go out.. Damn..Next thing I know some kid on a GSX'r Goes FLYING BY.. I mean 110 plus.. I can hear him grabbing gears behind me.. I think the radar cop spooked him..I can't see his face. But I see his bike dive/slow down.. but it's WAY too late.. The Statie I KNOW is coming for me diverts for him...Bigger Ticket I imagine.. Thank you mister GSX'r..
I got off and took about four side roads lol.. Ain't left the parking lot all day..

Got to love that. I got lucky on I-5 last weekend. A bike blew by me when I was doing about 90 in a 60. The cop looked like he was actually trying to figure out how to get us both so I jumped off the interstate before he got the bike stopped.

I almost threw my Rd out of the window when I first moved up here. The SOB was going off all the way from Olympia to Seattle. I don't use it anymore its just too much of a headache.

Part of the problem is they have the traffic monitors in operation I am told. And those us a *radar* to determine traffic flow.. Dunno what band.. but I am sure it wreaks havoc with detectors..Let alone the Kazillion small business that line the roads..Alarms/Door sensors.. Feh

I had a Valentine One.. I traded it for my Sony Xbox 360.. I think I got the better end of it.. Until I get a huge ticket again..

I would like to, but no helmet. So I can't run. I asked last year in the local area forum on the other forum, was rudely told to buy one..
I know I need one, but.. well I ain't got around to it. That and my head is huge LoL 8.25 Hat size.
Otherwise I would love to see what this pig will actually do
