    1997 Grand Cherokee
    1999 Firebird.

Thumbs up Got bored and debadged the Jeep today.

Getting them off is really easy! Soak the area with Goo Gone and wait about 5minutes. Then spray the area again. (no, this won't hurt the finish) Use a plastic scraper and wrap a microfiber cloth around it so you don't scratch the paint. Just slowly wedge the scraper under the letters and emblems being careful not to scratch or dent anything. You CAN use fishing wire, but it's a pain in the ass! After the emblems are removed, respray the area and use a towel or shop rag to remove any adheasive left on the vehicle. This is actually the most time consuming part. Wipe the area dry with a clean rag and WAX! I usually use 2 or 3 coats of good wax over the area where the emblems were. Pics:

Looks good man. I've always used fishing line and some turtle wax bug/tar remover. Using line is easy as long as you use a sawing motion with it.
