is that a good deal ? because a core system brand new is $300. But are all the extras worth it ?

you'll definatly want a hard drive..and that alone if you could find one is 100. are the controllers wired or not? also each game is 50 bucks....so just the games alone make it worth that.

I purchased the Core too, which was a big mistake!! ( cost over $500 to upgrade to a premium )

The HDs are $107.89 out the door...
Wireless Controllers are $50+
Games are 63$

The rest of the stuff a/v cable and power cord with surge strip are all included with the Core anyways ..... So Considering things are in Mint Condition and you actually want the games, It may be a good deal.

If it's one of the early build dates, I wouldn't even bother, I am still waiting to get mine back from warranty work and I got it Jan 1st.

Find out what the games are ( Fifa 06, and Fight Night are by far the best two games out right now )

just got mine last night i bought the system for 299 and the upgraded hard drive was 89.99 (cause they didn't have the other 399 system in stock) and i also got the hd convert cables and the new elderscrolls game (oblivion) and my total cost was about $500.00

Good games Ive played...
Call of Duty 2- multiplayer never gets old for some reason
Ghost Recon-Advanced Warfighter- just overall pretty awesome
Elder Scrolls- Oblivion- lots of shit to do, good graphics

Average Games Ive played
The Outfit- fun but not impressive
Quake IV- above average, but not amazing
Gun- seemed like an xbox game
Full Auto- fun but not much to it.

Bad Games Ive played
Pefect Dark Zero- controls sucked, and overall just pissed me off

Hope that helps a little whith choosing your games.
I don't like sports games, so don't know anything about them.

For $450 you can get a core , HDD, and extra wireless controller all NEW in box with warranty and all paper work. So unless you really want the games, don't take the deal, $400 sounds more reasonable ...

Oblivion is the shit.....you can do anything you want in that game.

As far as the system..I wouldn't buy it. It could be a dud and he's trying to get his money back for it....i'd wait until you can find a new premium system with warranty. The games are probably crap...which games are they?

BTW....you can get a hdtv pretty cheap now also....if you don't already have one i'd get one to go with the 360.

They're good games. I forgot what they are. but they're good haha.

ahhhh...well you never said he was your friend. Depending on the games it might not be a bad deal then....did he opt for the extended factory warranty? He had to send in some of the paperwork that came with the system and like $60 to extend the 3 month microsoft warranty to like a year I think

I plan on getting Elder Scrolls Oblivion next.... So far my favorite is Need For Speed Most Wanted, that game is a blast to play!
