God in school
One of my friends sent me an invitation to vote for God in school. Sorry but I really disagree with that. School is to learn your 123"s and abc"s. If you want God go to church on sunday. I dont believe in God anyhow. Any other opinions on this?

first off political section and even there it probably will get really heated. But answer the question, separation of church and state. Theres already a church where people can congregate and study, worship, praise god etc. They can go there and have services, functions, get togethers, church school etc. It doesnt belong in public schools. In 2009 it scares me that topics like this come up

Religion was a pretty interesting class. I enjoyed learning about them. But as far as making students pray and such, I don't think so. But if a student wishes to pray by themselves (with their inside voice) sure, its their right as an American.

People that are believers that want to worship, should be able to. They are able to. Its called church. Keep it there. But apparently it seems nowadays they wanna rewrite the constitution at their convenience.

The people pushing for this do not want evolution taught. I'm pretty sure catholiscism is the only form of christianity that still acknowledges evolution and thats dependant on the position of the current pope. The previous pope believed in evolution im pretty sure, whereas the current one from what i understand doesnt it. So theres tons of gray area with the whole "they teach evoluton" topic.

Religion out = evolution & atheism out
Since they are BOTH forms of religions.
Choosing not to believe, is a religious choice.

i kind of view atheism as the absence of religion in my case. I dont congregate in the name of anything. Its hard for believers to understand, they think atheists believe in satan or something, but what they dont realize is that satan is part of THEIR religion. Satan doesnt exist to an atheist its as arbitrary as god is.
