Shit, I dont even know what blood type I am. I voted afraid of needles... I'm not exactly afraid of needles... but I dislike them enough not to go out of my way to get jabbed with them.

Yeah, did everytime back in school. had a giant blood spill once, they forgot to put the cap on the test tube sample. about a pint sprayed all over the gym floor. i was laughing my ass off... but i got to go home early !

I can't give. I've been to Iraq, Korea, Kosovo, Germany and Cuba. I guess it disqualifies me for life. Before that I gave all the time. (The Army always has a blood drive going on.)

You left out a category for me: I would if I could but I can't so I shan't.

In English: My blood type is the most common (B+) but they won't take it. You wouldn't want it either as it's tainted.

Working on my 7th gallon- don't like the needle stick, but it only lasts a second or two- the people are super nice, and you may help save a life somewhere-

Cant give blood because I'm always getting some new ink done. I used to, but I'm about to go to Afghanistan, so I wont be able to after that

Im kinda in that boat too.. I used to give blood whenever there was a drive , but I took malaria pills, and after the time was up never started giveing again ...

I give blood whenever I can/ or am asked to. I dont go out of my way to give it, but if they are there, well you can have my blood if you want it.

Last time I gave blood, it was a trainee nurse... obviously VERY new to the job.

She hit an artery in my arm and both my bags filled up in maybe.... 3-4 seconds. Everyone(nurses) started freaking... I laughed and told everyone around me I can donate more efficiently. Was pretty fucked up though.

I'm up to about 15 gallons. It took a while one pint at a time. I go ever two months.

I just did the double red cell donation last Thursday. First time doing that. Not so bad but takes longer. Glad to know you and others from LS1.com are regular donors.
