do they realize how stupid it is to commit a crime in Texas....? Im not saying you should commit a crime anywhere, but committing one in Texas has got to be one of the dumbest things you can do...the amount of people there who own and conceal guns is sky high. She's dead right about somebody shooting them if they keep it up...it will happen eventually.

It isn't necessarily the amount of Texans with guns, but rather the incredibly lenient laws regarding when you can shoot someone (like defense of property ). Texas has nothing on Alaska with regard to people carrying guns.

When you consider the incredibly huge difference in population between the two - I'd say Texas (20+ million) has a heckuva lot on Alaska(>1 million) in that department.

Edit: After a quick google - I guess Alaska has Texas covered 2 to 1 in guns per capita..........Kentucky appears to have the highest guns per capita. Even so, Texas has 20 times the people of Alaska....so.

very true...saw a thing on TV about Alaska gun laws about a year ago and I learned a lot on that show. They call it The Last Frontier for more than one reason...
