I was listening to G.C. back in the early 70's on vinyl. The seven words you'll never hear on television - the heavy seven. That was good stuff.

George Carlin hasn't been funny in a loooooong time. I saw one of his recent shows on HBO... at first I thought it was some sort of living dead show.

He is only somewhat funny if you buy into the bleeding heart liberal 911 conspiracy theory, Bush is an idiot, moon landing and Iraq war controversies etc etc. I can laugh at a good political joke, even if I don't agree with it, but Carlin is terrible. He was even worse on Bill Mahers show.

George Carlin's current stuff is as horrid and as painful as watching a current GNR or other washed up 80s band making a "comeback".

His very last stand up wasnt that funny, but hes a genuine guy. And hilarious.

The funniest show I saw was when he made fun of guys named Todd, the 10 commandments, and anorexics.

He is by no means, not NOT funny.

I remember him from his B&W shows, hair cut, suit and tie days. Truly entertaining then. Now just swear like a drunken sailor and voice your inner most secret Libtard philosophy and your a hit with the masses.

Sure he cusses alot, but fuck it, I like that! Comedians who dont cuss when they work are just terrible and not to mention a dime a dozen.
