This generation is so sad...
So last night I hit the town with a friend of mine and he brought 3 others with him. Overall it was a fun night and everyone had a good time, but I couldn't help but share how pathetic I think some of the people in this generation are, kind of a rant thread like that guy who took his gf's friend to vegas, forget his name on here.
Anyways, all these guys and myself grew up in the sticks, I mean the middle of no where pretty much and I live in the city so I took them out on the town, hit a few bars, casino and a club. We got hit on by a tranny, and found 20 bucks at the gay bar, they hadn't seen anything like that, so they thought it was pretty funny.
This one girl was with us and she was bitching about how hot it was, turn the A/C up higher in the car etc. So I'm pretty obnoxious if anyone hasn't noticed so I turned off the A/C and rolled down the window for a few minutes and told her to quit bitchin' Well everyone wanted it on so I gave in. This poor chick needed to lose a bout 30lbs and she might be good looking, but even then she was boring the whole night, not talkative, no personality. Pretty much nothing going for her.
I talk to the guy that was around her most of the night and we were having a drink together and he's like, oh looks like I'm out. It was the end of the night, so not a big deal and so I said, you didn't spend that much did ya. And he's like well yea like 180, buying her drinks all night and I said why? He's like idk, she doesn't even put out or anything...so I just laughed about that. Not sure why he was with her anyways, she has no nice qualities. I think i only spent 30 bucks the whole night, poor chap.
So we were walking back to the car and she runs into a friend and I overheard her talking. Said something about how terrible she is cuz her parents buy/pay for everything still. She's like 23 so I rolled my eyes and kept walking. Must of still lived with her parents too, who knows.
We get back to my house and we are all still drinking, well I go upstairs to hit the bed and my blanket is gone. I go to the living room and see she's using it. I didn't care, but damn, you could of at least asked without roaming around in my house and taking my cover...
Then my friend wanted to go out to our favorite place to get some breakfast a few minutes ago, but she's like NO, we are going home...so they left, fun wrecker...
/rant
We still had a good time though, so who cares.

The generation thing has to do with "some" of the people I grew up around. A lot still live at home and mooch off their parents and it gets on my nerves because then they try and mooch off me too. I'm cranky and old already. They'll come over, make a mess, eat our food, not chipping in for gas when we go on trips etc.
I could go on...

I have noticed that shit as well. I still live at home but I pay half the mortage as I am co owner with my father since my mother is disabled. I have met folks my age and younger who brag that daddy is buying them this and mommy is buying them that and whatever the fuck. They have the nerve to talk shit about me and how allegedly my folks bought me my car and ask when they can move in since I am co owner of this house. I tell them to drop fucking dead and then they try to act tough or act like I am in the wrong for being a douche to them. Sorry...I pay for MY car, and MY end of the mortgage. I knew that anti-spanking law passed in the mid 90s would come and bite us in the ass. When I was a kid, I was raised to leave folks alone. Now...it's all about being nosy and acting like the morons from those bullshit "reality" TV shows. Honestly...there should be a show about how one suffers for being rude, obnoxious, spreading gossip and flat-out lying. A nice brutally honest show that physically torures moronic people. Like taking someone like Snooki and throwing them in the octagon with Cyborg or Gina.

I have no problem with people that live at home and help their parents out and such. I'd like to be closer with my parents too, but I am not gonna mooch off them and not pay my bills. I mean these kids don't pay for anything.
The sad part is those reality tv stars have millions in endorsements.

I know what you meant. Over here, these moochers point fingers at folks who actually make a difference. It's like they want to mooch, yet try to cover their ass at the same time. Like covering a lie with a lie. I hate that shit. Then when they are ridiculed, they get all butthurt and ask why honest hard working folks are talking shit.

This thread sucks, has no point, and is stupid. Not unlike anything else you say or post about. Keep listening to "baugh" though, maybe in due time you'll have something interesting to talk about.

I am probably the only one of my generation who actually enjoys looking after his folks. I have met older folks who admire me for doing that. But...I am a rarity.

I love my folks, (Dad died years ago, but I have a stepfather) that's why I will find the nicest retirement home for them in the book..

I don't think I could do that to my folks. Hell...my great-grandfather died in a retirement home. They let him die. Other family members say the same thing.

Let's keep this back on topic. I see where Allbaugh is coming from. Some folks have NO manners. I was raised to ask permission before taking something. Now...all I see are people who are younger than myself just grab and walk away unless confronted. And when confronted, they become hostile and loud. To me, those folks are just plain ignorant.
