$2.99 93 octane about an hour ago south of Austin in Dripping Springs at a Shell station. Two Tacos and a coke were $3.00. Regular unleaded was $2.79 FYI........I'm still pissed about $3.00 pack of Marlboro's man....one thing at a time please....

Gotcha beat! When I first started driving Super Shell was .... 25 CENTS / gallon! (And they even gave out free steak knives with each fill-up! I still have some that I use....) Sunoco 260 was 29 cents / gallon and that was considered expensive for the times! Sarge - cigarettes are over $5.00 / pack here in Jersey! (Don't know the exact price 'cuz I don't smoke). On Friday night Premium was going for between $3.07 - $3.17 a gallon. Plus and Regular are 10 and 20 cents / gallon cheaper, respectively. I see a lot less traffic on the roads now.... & stores & restaurants are a lot emptier...
