    G8 won't become the Chevy Caprice

    Has anybody heard anything about this. I was watching G4 last night and on the bottom of the screen it said that GM is not going to carry the G8 as the Caprice? I never even knew that this was an idea that GM had.....

    I'm glad taht the G8 will die with Pontiac. Don't get me wrong, I'm sad Pontiac is going away, but I think everything should go with it, not pick and choose.

    no not off hand I don't. I recall reading it somewhere... Maybe that's why they diden't sell Buick like they should have. I thought they was gonna debut it at the 09 or 2010 autoshow... they could have scrapped it for all I know.

    I still really hope they decide to make the G8 a Caprice. The Holden Caprice looks pretty awesome, and the Commodore looks way better then the G8 imo. Of course GM will mess it up for the US market, put some gay looking grill on it, but hopefully it would be easy to convert.
