    na, the ls4 is in the monte carlo and impala ss's with the front drive 5.3.


    the g8's have the L76 which the same engine as the 1/2 ton pickups and suvs get. the 6.0 vortec max---VVT and DOD

    Yep L76, the LS4 is for FWD only. The GXP (when it finally bows) gets the 403hp LS3 and optional 4.10 gears. That will be a 12 second 4 door stock.
