are those power numbers correct??? 355hp/384 tq??? Out of a sc 6 liter??? Don't seem right.

i think there is a lot wrong with that ad. it's a 6.2L LS3 engine with a blower...you do the math

I thought they were rated at 500 hp.

I'd guess closer to 4,000 lbs.

the sticker says it's an L76 motor

yeah. the sticker, and the door plate both say L76....Its a 6.0L, the LS3 is 6.2 right?

I saw one at the NY Auto Show. Pretty nice car, but I don't think a manual is an option. If folks weren't bashing the car because of the name, they were either complaining about the price and the lack of a manual trans. The rep did not look happy to be there to answer questions either.

Yea, another board I am on had a lot of negative response to the Firehawk name being used on the G8.

As far as any other bashing of SLP goes, based on the dealings I had with them on my Hawk T/A back in 02, they deserve every bit of it. Talk about piss poor "customer service". And Dave Hamburger can be an arrogant little prick to boot.

The result of when success goes to ones head. They don't think ahead to when problems arise and make good on correcting those problems.
