Funny but true. Why AC/DC sucks.
I found this article someone had written up about AC/DC and it is pretty much accurate if you stop and think about it, considering that turd of a new single they just put out. Now i did not write this so dont get pissed at me, lol.

Now all this being said, i would like to point out that AC/DC is the only band that I hate that I can also listen to with no complaint. I guess it is comforting to have some good standbys in life, kind of like the nerdy best friend you've had since kindergarten. You know they'll always be home on a saturday night when the girl you asked out stands you up.
HAHAHAHA

Well I realized 20 years ago they only play 3 chords. Still cool to listen to some old stuff of theirs once in a while.

AC/DC is a marketing genius. Make music that girls can dance too, but heavy enough that guys like it and every body can sing too!
they do the same thing as Porsche, make the same thing over and over, with slight changes to keep people interested.
Posrche cars have looked the same since the 70s
AC/DC has sounded the same since the 70s (ok since bon scott died to be exact)
why change something that always sells.
The only two AC/DC albums you ever need to own is Back in Black and Razors Edge.
In regards to Angus, hes just like Eric Clapton, the best guitarists to re-hash the blues box and scale over and over and over.

Im as big an AC/DC fan as there is. Got all the cds, my favorite band without a doubt. That being said Im not very into the Black Ice cd. Just too slow and bluesy for me. If youre into older faster AC/DC get Airbournes cd. Its great very vintage AC/DC

They DO put on a great show. You have to remember guys, these dudes are getting way long in the tooth. In their prime, they were the R&R juggernaut.
Look at metal groups with members in their late 30's and see if AC/DC had an influence on them.
Over thirty years of rocking and making money ain't gonna happen when someone sucks. Well.......

very few bands still making music after 30 years. I actually like the fact they picked a sound and stuck with it unlike other bands(metallica). They have an ass ton of good music but the radio plays the same 4 songs all the time. I like a lot of their newer stuff too. The ball breaker album has a bunch of good songs on it.
That being said my wife bought me their new album and I didn't much care for it.

Just for the record...
According to the "Recording Industry Association of America"
Van Halen has sold over 56 million albums in the United States and over 80 million worldwide.
So in case you didn't know that puts your AC/DC second to Van Halen!
Guniness Book of World records also recognizes them as the number one selling artist of all time.
Get your facts straight next time.

Sold 18,000,000 albums since 2003, though. Back in Black sold 42 million alone!!! They have over 200 million albums sold during their career.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC/DC
And I love Van Halen, but a fact is a fact.
