I like when people call 911 after finding a dead body............um........isn't it a bit too late to be calling if the guy is dead???

im a 911 dispatcher, you should hear some of the strange requests people make. after 4 years it still amazes me. the best is when people tell me that im overpaid and their taxes are payin my salary. love it!

I do a bunch of overtime in communications....what do they pay up there?

they start out around 34 ish but with experience at a smaller dept you can make as much as 55-65 thousand a year. how is florida in pay?

they pay a little more i believe...not sure though i think u start at 42? I dont know...i just know that i get paid overtime, they always need a lot of help, short on staff. It's suppose to be a 2 year job span that most ppl meet. Some ppl cant handle the stress
