My cousin calls me today. (he's a real idiot, you'll never meet anyone more stupid, trust me. He once bragged to me that he was the 3rd best player on his 4 member volleyball team. He was a senior in highschool, playing on the junior varsity girls volleyball team.

) And asks me "So, do all you muscle car guys pool your money to buy mods for eachother, cause I am looking at getting a new mustang GT and could use the help."

I told him, "Well, we normally do, but we don't help out Mustang owners because it just takes way too much work to turn them into actual muscle car contenders."

"So, if I get a Camaro, you guys will help then?" He asks, sounding disappointed.

"No, just the thought of buying a stang before a GM is grounds for not getting any of the pool money." I told him.

Apparently he believed me because the next thing he said was "We'll, there is this guy willing to sell me his 14 second Honda Civic."

"14 seconds...wow." I tell him, quickly pushing the mute button so he can't hear me choking on my own laughter. Unmute- "That's some serious speed." -mute.

"That's what I thought, I just wanted a second opinion. He's only asking 10k for it, and it has just over 45k miles on it. I think I'll call him and tell him I'll take it."

"Alright, let me know how it turns out." I tell him and then quickly hang up so he doesn't hear me laughing my a$$ off.

14 flat pry isn't bad for a civic!? still not worth braggin about though! oh and btw...did anyone else not receive their monthly mod pool allotment for july yet? i was really hoping to get some new headers this month...

the stor was funny, but i kinda feel bad for the guy. mostly cuz u make him sound likes hes mentally retarded, then u kick him out of ur mod-pool.

He's just an idiot. He once showed up at my front door, because he happened to be the pizza delivery guy of the pizza place I order from. Anyways, he shows up, I answer the door, say hi, give him the check, take the pizza, and just as I am about to shut the door, he looks at me and asks "You look familiar, did we go to school together?" Keep in mind my name is on the check, and we have the same last name.

I said "No, I'm your cousin dumbass." My wife over heard the conversation and just about fell over from laughter.

And there is no mod pool. He thought that all muscle car drivers across the country chipped in to help other muscle car drivers buy parts.
