title says it....and now i own one.....22 weeks old brought him home today....he's black & rust, cropped, docked, micro-chipped! im 20 just finished school...i had a 2 yr degree when i graduated high school & live alone( for now...engaged ) out in the country and hes gonna b my estate guard ill post some pics once he has a name lol.......cost me $2,200...most dobes have european blood-lines...atleast american ones which have been bred more as house/family dogs....not mine pure german guard dog bred

yea i think so too....most ppl prefer german shepards there stronger...but dobes arent far behind...plus dobes are smarter & more loyal...most ppl dont know they cant handle cold weather well which is why they arent used in law enforcement

looks can be deceiving,my wife and i have a lhasa apso and 2 shih tzu,funny as hell to see a little shih tzu chasing off a german shepard/chow mix.my wife's cousin has said german shepard/chow and he comes on our property and our little male shih tzu (he only weighs about 18 lbs)will run him off the property,nipping at the big dogs heels.

It varies from dog to dog...... I'd like to see a shitsu try that with my chow mix. Only thing that'd be left is the collar.

i'm not saying i have satan's shih tzu ,nor do i think my shih tzu is a fighting dog,just saying it is quite humorus to see a little dog chasing a scared big dog.no offense meant toward any breed/mix.there are not any breeds that i do not like.

It may be smarter than a german shepherd or maybe not... no two dogs are the same. I had a lab and I never seen another dog smarter than him.

i have a german shepherd and a dobe. the shepherd is waaaaaay smarter but as far as loyalty goes, if im in the room there could be 10 ppl yelling his name and he will stay by my side.
