Friends dog got quilled
His name is Rico.
He has been friends with my two dogs for years, just got these pics this morning.

Holy shit. Have you seen homeward bound? A dog named chance that looks exactly like this had this happen. Good movie when I was a kid.
Poor thing. Least it didnt get his eyes.

Poor doggie .. funny thing is it dont look like it bothers him at all ... Looks like he is saying " Yea. they will fall out sooner or later ..whatever.."....lol

Poor boy. Pitts must like to go after porcupines. I saw a show once where two pitts were quilled and looked 100 times worse than that. He should be fine after a visit to the vet for removal and some meds.

You need to cut the ends off the quills to get them out. They are like straws, Hollow inside & create a suction.

True. Ive never got to see a porcupine or armadillo in person. We have minks and bobcats tho. They are interesting to look at.
