This Friday is the first weekly meet for my car club!!!

I decided to make a REAL car club for Central Florida. No ricers, no drugs or alcohol, and no street racing.

Just a cool car club with weekly meets, and if I get enough people, a monthly cruise and more!

I posted on Facebook, Craigslist, and like 5 different Message Boards. Hopefully people show up. LOL

Back home people would try and get a fbody gathering going, I finally got tired of it not happening so I said I would have hotdogs and drinks for plenty of people... well next thing you know I had like 25 fbodys and a couple 5th gens show up it was a great time though! Good luck and grab picks!

you are ambitious to think you'll get a weekly meet & greet going. Once a month is usually the norm and for the car club I'm in we meet the first Monday of the month, usually at a restaurant that can handle us (30-50).

There is a lot of work to doing them. I jokingly say I'm glad our club president is retired, he seems to spend all of his free time doing club business.

There's plenty of them, but they take more work than you'd think to keep going strong. There's a pretty strong Corvette club here in Tulsa that's been going strong for many years.
