Friday before a holiday!

I work in a fairly small company. About 20 people. We have 7 in the building today. My drive to work normally takes about an hour. Today it took 45 minutes.

Anyone else show up to work it seems like EVERYONE took off for the extended weekend. WTF. Wish I would have drove the camaro to work today.

im young and dumb I work two jobs on Fridays start the day at 6 in the morning and finish up at 9

we have like half the staff here, all the warehouse guys/installers what not took off..the rest of us are trying to get out at 3 but i doubt it will happen...

im sorry ure laid off that does suck, but if i were laid off i would sit back for the summer and collect, and have a nice summer. I have a job though where i could go anywhere, a receptionist/admin assistant is needed everywhere so i wouldnt be worried about it but i know guys in specialized fields who are laid off and cant find anything, wish ya luck!

Same exact situation here OP , I have an hour drive to work normally, took about 40 minutes to get here today, and there are like 10 of 30 here. Of the three bosses, two of them are gone. It's pretty quiet in here, I can hear the mites chewing on the carpet It's driving me pretty crazy too....
