Was it the 88 or 89 cobra ford got sued over the advertised HP not being what it stated, with equal hp my Chevy will get better mpg that fords or mopars, whaz up with that, dual overhead cams and they still don't hp like a chevy, sure YOU can buff them up, I'm reminded of the expression, YOU can polish a load of sh-- all day long, in the evening it's still a pile of sh--. I don't hate fords, their American muscle, and I'm glad there, there. But any student of history that buys a ford is forgetting henry's legacy.

I've only made minor changes to my SS, royal purple, K&N, draco plugs, and it's still jumps all over the fords that will play. Lets see, the ford guy from bowie thats been on on pinks 2 or 3 times, and his mustang, then an 01 cobra, 02, cobra, 03 cobra, 1 rouch, 1- turbo t bird, ... I did get set back by a static once, I mean lightnings my car just went flat, the next one that played I dusted, all when I'm basically stock, my 87 GN can handle all of those fords with stock boost. Are you the guy that doesn't understand how to shift an A4?
As far as the Camaro being gone, they wouldn't sell us out, like ford, and make it a girls car. $\hp Chevy rules! IMHO!

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
i dont shift my A4, my ecu does it for me.
reality is that a mustang cobra, 03 and up is faster than a f-body.
poorly driven stock cobras will lose to f-bodies.
stock for stock, the cobra has a lower e.t and high trap than the f-body.
GM dropped the f-body line, nothing to do with selling out or not. it was all about lack of sales.2000 nhra edition formula

Can you say marketing, or lack of it. Watch the General show ya how it's done with the new Camaro. Then the question will be can the mustang survive.
63k or 66k the last year does not sound like a lack of sales to me, for a mature platform, sorry old body style. The basic body form of the Camaro hadn't changed in several years, and sales did decline. There was a recession, 9-11-01, and a shift in the market place, GM probably regrets the choice they made then, now.
The concept of the Camaro has always been a lean, light, no frills platform, from it's conception on (1967-2002). Look I owned a 1979 and found it to be none of those thing, yet it still out handled mustangs in the corners, ya it was the only place I could hang but it out performed them there. Handling over frills.
As the market demographic changed, and the buying public had more money to spend on frills, they gave us trills instead. I LIKE IT! Nothin' better then setting SpurSS into a mustangs ribs thus the handle!
By the way what about henry's people skills?

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
According to production figures on CamaroZ28.com, there were 29,009 Camaro's built for 2001 and 42,098 Camaros built for 2002 for a total of just over 71,xxx for both years. Pretty dismal sales numbers. Don't get me wrong I like Camaro's and will purchase a 5th gen.
