Fog Lights.
From what Ive been told by local police(3 times), having your fog lights on is illegal unless the road is not visible 100ft or so in front of you, due to fog. Its been a couple months since I was last pulled over for having them on(which I no longer drive with them on), but in total, I have been pulled over a total of 3 times, and all 3 time just got warnings for having my fog lights on. I was just curious too see, where you all live, is it illegal to drive with your fog lights on during normal weather conditions? And if you drive with them on, do you get hasseled by the local cops?
I feel like cops are just targeting me and looking for any excuse to pull me over in hopes of catching me driving with a buzz or something else illegal(yes, I know these cars are sports cars and attract unwanted attention sometimes). But I swear every 9 out of 10 cars/trucks/suv's I see on the road have their fog lights on and cops will drive right by them, either passing them on same side of road or passing them going opposite way. It's bullshit.

I've heard this before as well, but it's also one of those things that I can't imagine they'd ticket for unless you started being a jerk.
It's a bit like the front license plate. I've been pulled over a few times. They always tell me I should have it, I always tell them that I know and I just haven't put it on. They always give a warning. It's a nice pr move for them, they get to tell you that they're giving you a warning so they're not all bad guys and they get to pull you over to make sure you're not doing anything else you shouldn't be doing (dui, transporting other things, etc).

I always drive with them on when it starts to get dark but not dark enough to need to use my headlights. Even when my headlights are on my fogs are ALWAYS switched on.
Never gotten pulled over for it in almost 2 years.
They might be bullshitting but ive never had problems from the cops about them. Id look it up somewhere and get some more info on it.

in PA they have to be off when your high beams are on, but when they're on low beam its fine. they have to automatically go off when the high beams are on to pass PA state inspection

thats because ure in PA (see above post)
when ur highs go on, the fogs automatically shut off, if u had aftermarket fog lights that stay on while the highs are on ud get fined, it varies by state.
its just so u dont blind people with fog lights and high beams. thats unsafe to oncoming traffic
