Fml moment of the week-post here

Mine would be Monday. I called my bank to see what my current balance was, they charge 3 dollars for this and I wasn't aware. Turns out I has $2 in my account and when I asked the guy if this is before or after the $3 fee and he said it was before. Now I'm at $-1 in my account and I now have an overdraft charge. Fml

Why would you bank with them if THEY CHARGE YOU 3.00 TO SEE YOUR BALANCE!?

    That's fucking ridiculous.

I check my account every other day online. Cost: $0.00

They also let me move money between checking/savings, and my other accounts with them. (I am limited to 6 moves though per month)

As such, I've financed 2 vehicles, a mortgage, and about 3 private loans through them.

    Bottom Line: Your bank sucks.

It does. But it has a location at every walmart and there is about 6 or 7 walmarts in my area so it's more convenient for me vs other banks

I recommend USAA. Lots of online stuff, you can deposit paper checks online and they do ATM rebating so if an ATM charges you they refund it at the end of the month. It doesn't matter what ATM you use anymore. They do a % refund on all debit purchases and pay you interest on your accounts. I don't know what the percentages are anymore but it's nice for someone who travels alot. The only issue I've run into if places that only accept local checks. So go hit an ATM, pay for it with cash and get your refund in a few days...
