Fla couple forecloses on bank!
This story is just too good.
A Bank of America branch in Florida tried to foreclose on a home...that never had a mortgage on it.....the couple first talked to B of A when looking at the home in 2009..but decided to pay $165,000 cash for it instead and didn't go the mortgage route.
Well in 2010 they were suprised to get a notice of Forecloser from B of A on their home....they spent $2600 in attorney fee's taking B of A to court over it and the court ordered B of A to pay their attorneys Fee's after it was all cleared up.
After 5 months of not paying the fee's, letters and request....the couples lawyers did the next legal step and foreclosed on the Bank!.....They showed up at the bank with their lawyer and a notice of foreclosure, the local sheriff...moving trucks and a moving team. The lawyer instructed the moving team to remove all the money from the drawers in the tellers offices, all the furniture and all the TV's........The Bank Manager produced a check for the couple within 1hr for $6000 to prevent the couple from foreclosing on the bank!
