First Car
Honestly, how many of y'all think getting an LS1 for a first car is stupid? Not that i really care what you think, but sometimes i wonder. I really want one.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I don't think it is stupid either.
Good to have plenty of experience behind the wheel before driving around in a 300+ HP car though.
Just be smart with it.

Bright Red- 1999 Trans Am Ws6
I am 19, and the ws6 is my first car ever. I worked my ass off, saved every dollar. Paid for it in full. I think a nice car is the best car for your first, I would be embarrassed to drive around a cheap ass car.

99% chance you'll probably wreck your first car no matter what it is. I did and seems like everyone I know wrecked their first car. I'm not talking about necessarily totalling it out but a wreck of some fashion. Something to keep in mind. Might wanna get a POS for a year or so to get that first wreck out of the way.

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
My first car was a P.O.S.VW bug that the trans axle went out of 3 months later. I then had a really nice 73 nova with a 250 strait 6. fixed it up and drove it for a year. Sold it then got a 64 nova that My dad and I put a 355 sbc, th-350 and a ford 9" with 4.11 gears. All I got to say is I'm glad I had a year or so experience before I got my first v-8. A lot of responsibility in owning a nice car with a v-8.
2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

yea i drove mom and dads 96 bonneville around for the first two years and low and behold i crashed it once, a Guy pulled out and t-boned my passenger side when there were 2 girls and another guy in the front seat after it was done one chick was on the left side of the steering wheel somehow and the other was on my lap and th other guy was where the armrest was, and that car also hit a deer at 65. That bonnevile has been through hell, i got ran of the road by another car into a snowbank too but no damage was done. dad hit a deer with it and mom backed up into a tree. Good thing we bought another one for parts. But yea its a good thing to wait,

There weren't LS1's when I got my first car. Come to think of it...there weren't steel belted radials/synthetic motor oils and gas was a $.25....smokes were $.15...but my first car was a GTO My first BJ was in that GTO...Wonder what ol Jackie M is doing these days I digress....go get the LS1 son and get a BJ....

If you want sex go buy a Ford F250 Powerstroke 4 Door Long box in Amber(Looks like the Sunset orange metalic on our cars). Ginormus backseat, Looks awesome, Loud and has power, the only thing is its a bitch to fill up and they wuit making that color in 02 i think. That vehicle has gotten more ass than the trans am has and i dont usually drive it that much (its mom and dads). BTW sarge what year GTO (dads got 2 of them just sittin here needin work)

For your first car, just DO NOT make payments. When your 18, the last thing you need is making payments on a car. Save up, pay in full. Much smarter. After buying my car, spending money on mods, I now have 4k saved up, closer and closer to that crotch rocket!
