Nice...now they have the two biggest 'thugs' in the NBA. They'll be standing at 1/2 court with their fists up ready to fight the entire opposing team (of course Mello will be ready to do his patented 'stick and run' maneuver).

I also how Iverson is gonna deal with hard ass George Carl. He'll wanna be traded again before the end of the season...mark my words.

1st - Melo is not a thug!!
But he did run, and I was very disappointed!

2nd - Allan I will help the Nuggets and he will adjust.

however, giving up Andre Miller and Joe Smith is a little bit of a bummer. Plus two 1st rounders.

I think the two will get along and push them Nuggs DEEP into the season!

giving up andre miller was big, but people fail to realize that with a scrub team iverson is avereging 7.3 assists a game, imagine what he will do with a team that can play. As far as being a thug, sure thats how he grew up, but in no way does he bring that "THUG" attitude on the court. He is one of the hardest working players in the league.

it doesnt if they are the 1 and 2 scorers, look at all the facts. as said before on a CRAPPY team iverson is averaging 7.3 assists a game. He has already stated that he is glad to play with melo because of the fact he doesnt always have to shoot.

Do not forget that you have to be freakishly tall (mostly) to even make it in the NBA.

saying you have to be tall to play in the NBA is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. The average player is 6'4, last time i checked football is right around the same. There are players odviously over 7'0 but look at how many are under 6'. you find it in every sport, not just basketball.

ill put money against both of you. The only problems AI has had was with coaches and management (just so happens that he is not the first with philly to have those problems). And Melo is just a kid trying to grow up (not to mention a wuss for running) but either way they wont win the finals but they will be really good and probably go to the semis.

George is a hard nose....and Iverson does not like to take orders or have people telling him what to do. Ohhh...that'll work out great!

but iverson respects him, look at what happened with larry brown. in the begining iverson didnt respect him, after they sat down and talked they ended up in the finals the next year because he started trusting him. I think that they will do just fine together.
