This is great. Even on an expensive car like this, they still get cheap with the parts/construction. Good to see...
Ferrari said the company is asking owners of the cars produced before July 2010 to bring them in to have the glue replaced with mechanical fasteners.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
looks like italy has just add one more engineer to the unemployment line....
as a designer you can not overlook small things like this... R&D and quality control should have been all over this before hte car was released.
I will stay a lamborghini fan!

so i wonder if those whose cars burst into flames because of the fault will either receive a new one or their money back...otherwise if it were me i'd be pissed.
then again if i had a quarter-mil to drop on a car i could probably piss silver dollars and wipe my ass with woodrow wilson.

Damn at the fire
But all jokes aside, the 458 is a piece of art. Not really overpriced for what you're getting in my opinion. Awesome car. It replaced the F430 which was slower and uglier and it was only like 10-13k cheaper than the 458 I believe, which really isn't that much less when we're talking $200,000+
