    Fenced in yards?

If you've paid to have a fence installed-please post up what it was/how much it cost and if you had a big/medium/small yard. We need a fence in our yard, i don't know even how big our peremiter is and i'm wondering if we were to make a small one just to let the dogs run around in then build a nice one later if that would be economical or should we just do it all at once. I really don't like doing things twice. So far, i've gotten $3/ft and $30 per terminal installed.

My last backyard fence I paid to get replaced. Old one was beat up bad. Anyway it was 51', treated wood posts with 6' cedar dog eared boards. Removal of old fence plus build new one was just under $1,300.

Hope that helps give you an idea. But costs in Cali are I'm sure different than where you are.

51 sounds like it's small, i need to measure my damn yard...i had it surveyed, but they never mesured it.

1300 sounds very reasonable for that kind of finish.

I am having a house built Jaison and the backyard is being fenced during the build process.

I think the measurements are 52 feet across the back and 102 feet down the sides. 2 of the 3 sides were already fenced for me, but to have one of the 102 feet sides fenced it was right at $700, all wood fence. Hope this helps some.

We tried to do it ourself but kept hitting rock. We paid $1400 for 81 linear ft. Typical treated dog ear. Got 1 4 ft door.

I don't think his dog lives underground though... But I'm not sure, he didn't specify.
