Great the only two magazines I buy are being absorbed by others. Guess that will end since I don't need all the other stuff that will be featured in the mag.
Mods - Lid, Skip Shift Eliminator, MGW shifter, UMI SFCs, Founders Lower Control Arms, Founders Panhard Bar, Founders Adj. Torque Arm, UMI Torque arm mount, MWC Drive shaft safety loop, KONI Yellows, Strano Springs, Strano Sway bars, UMI Upper and lower A Arms, 160 thermostat, TSP headers and TSP true duals Monster stage 2 clutch, racetronix fuel pump, Strange S60 rear axle and tune by Frost.

Son of a beyotch.
That sucks... only magazine I currently subscribe to is GM High-Tech. Zach got me a subscription to Hot Rod and I steal my brother-in-law's left over copies of Motor Age. Nice they can't even get the name right for GMHTP.

They already killed the GMHTP website and absorbed it into Super Chevy.

I'm super bummed also, I have 2 more years left on the subscription. It's the only mag I'm subscribed to also.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Preface: At one time or another I've had subscriptions to every US car mag in existence except Motor Trend.
Back in 2001 I had subscriptions to both Hot Rod and Muscle Car Review. I had time remaining on both but had recently resubscribed to both for 3 year terms. Within months MCR was absorbed by HR. I got a letter stating that my subscription to HR was extended to 2008. Kinda pissed me off as I liked MCR much better than HR.
Well, MCR came back and I now am a subscriber once more. I've had a subscription to Hot Rod since 1978 but I've decided to not renew as the mag has changed beyond the point of my liking or caring.
Sucks to see PHR (subscriber since 1983) and Camaro Performers (subscriber since #1) getting the axe as I subscribe to both of them also. I guess my subscription to Super Chevy (subscriber since 1980) will get longer as a result.
Regarding car mags I guess I'll keep MCR, HMM, and SC (not so sure about SC either). The rest have been dumped or became a product I do not like.Last edited by 67CamaroRSSS; 06-02-2014 at 10:10 AM.

Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
The editor posted on tech about this and basically said the decision makers have no clue about cars and to them these were just duplicate mags not unique like they really are. They had no warning were just told to come to a place and then told to have your stuff out by a certain date. Even though they were growing in subscription and advertising they didn't care all they saw was an unjustified expense in their minds.

Thanks for the info. I wondered what was going on as this month's editorial talked about how many subscribers GMHTP has grown to have and future plans for articles. Any timeline on this?

The editor has already moved on to a new job and the office is shut down. Pretty sure this was their last issue

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Ridiculous. Utter bullshit. GMHTP was the only mag I subbed to. Nothing else. I used to buy Super Chevy years ago then discovered GMHTP and was hooked. I was also bummed when GMHTP relocated from Rochelle Park, NJ to Florida. Rochelle Park is 20 mins from me. Would have been nice to take a tour of their office or, if available, buy some GMHTP merchandise.

When my subscription runs out I don't think I'll renew it. Looking for another "Pontiac theme" mag. I like HPP because they had tons of articles on Trans Am's.

That's part of my bitch - we won't see any Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, or Buicks in "Super Chevy". I was really enjoying all the Buick GN articles and tech information. Technically, the only Chevrolets we own are the Corvette, Suburban and Monte Carlo SS. The majority of our cars fall under the BOP banner.
