I just don't get it. I really don't. What could possibly possess someone to update their life for all their friends to see every few minutes like that?

It's not dumb, people just over use it and think their life should matter to other people.

If i see something cool. I'll upload a picture, like once a month. Like I saw the leg lamp for sale from the movie "a christmas story". That's something worth sharing

I can connect with all the people i served with, met in desert, previous squadrons or people that just move away and we will always be friends, friends from previous jobs, etc. When people change their numbers or addresses you'd never be able to get back in touch with them. Then my phone is updated and I don't even need to get to a computer to call someone.

It's pretty damn convenient, people just use it for the wrong reasons.

If you can't find the benefits of facebook, you're doing it wrong. You're letting every one else ruin it for you. I delete all the news feeds from people that I just don't care to read about. It's not hard.
