Ever wish you had "Bought It Done?"

Don't get me wrong I love my Camaro, I just wish it was further along....

It really is my own fault as I've had a lot of different cars through the years.

I just can't save anything, because it all goes right into the car LOL!

...can't argue that point. I was thinking more from the financial end of building it though.

When the project feels insurmountable and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, yeah, it sucks and I wish I'd bought something else, something finished.

When I get to the end of the day, sharing a beer with my brother and build-buddy, staring at the car, admiring what we got finished, it's usually worth it.

i wish that i would have hired someone to put the windows and doors in my house.

on the old monte carlo i wish that i would have had someone line check and crack check my heads before i put them back on. if i had i would probably still be driving it.

    other than that...no...not really.

    Ima little different I guess..

There have been days I hated doing stock repairs on old greasy beaters..
But then again I have actually entertained the thought of an engine pull just to clean it before.. lol
I do like adding new mods and parts to nice and clean projects tho..
Maybe I am confused..lmao I have good days and bad days..

I have had good days working up to my arm pits in tractor trailer grease, and bad days of the same on old cars I've had.. Fickle I guess.

Having the right tools makes any project much more fun..imho

You'll appreciate the car more with all the hard earned money, sweat, cuts, and time you put into it. I'll never part with my T/A ..feel like I raised a kid lol

    99 WS.6 - Modified

I buy cars to work on them. I prefer to do the wrenching myself. I don't think I've ever bought a car that I haven't modded myself....other than the d.d.. I have the modding sickness, and there is no cure. I can only give in to it.

"buy it done" for me. I like working on my car but I like driving the piss out of it more than being under it.

    Sadly now demodded :(

When I was a kid? Did all my own work (even had a shop for 6 years).

Now, as an older guy? I just wanna drive it so I pay others to sweat...

Different days bring different feelings. Working on cars that are getting to 15 years old can become quite annoying and frustrating. But when things go right and or you get alot of shit done you feel great. And when you finish a project like engine swap, tranny rebuild and you drive it around and it feels great you are on top of the world... until something else goes.
