Ever had this happen?

So, I nearly put the Bird in a ditch today trying to execute a left handed turn (at a stop sign), while trying to get the window down ( at least far enough so that I could stick my arm out to give a proper finger) while swerving to avoid a dumbass bitch.
See here's what happened:
I get to the stop sign first turning left. There's a little old blue haired lady going the opposite direction and though I was there first, I motioned for her to go. No one was at either the left or right of the intersection. Then this shithead from Shelby county (aka: Memphis) who was BEHIND the lady I let go first tries to dart through the intersection. WHILE I'm turning left. Then this piece of work LAYS on the gotdamned horn and starts hollering out the window. First of all, I had the fucking right of way, second I almost never get so pissed off driving. So as I have to swerve making my left, this cunt is blowing her fucking horn and all I see are eyeballs and big lips moving fast.
I'm pissed off and nearly run into a small ditch trying to get the window down to get my arm out of the window and yell a few choice words myself. She saw the finger from inside and if she could read lips she got the point. It's kinda funny in retrospect but it still makes me mad.
My question is this: what is the proper law for the navigation of stop signs? Being a semi-good ole boy from Mississippi I usually follow the rule of "who ever gets there first goes first". What do you do in situations like this?

The law is who ever gets there first goes, if both parties come up to signs at same time. It's the person to the right.
