Enough is enough
OK that is it everytime I get one thing straightened out on the jeep something else goes. So now I am going to have a discussion with the wife tomorrow about getting a "new truck" I found a 1990 GMC stepside it has 174k on the truck itself but the trans and engine only has 20 k it is also lifted and has new BFG ta ko tires. for that price and the setup I need to do 2 things. scour that fucker for whatever is wrong with it,and if it checks out buy that fucker.
While it is not as old as I would like it to be it is much easier and cheaper to work on than a goddamnedsonofabitchinfucking jeep.

It needs a trans (the jeep) or rebuild a trans. if i put that kind of money ito that piece of shit my wife will have my balls. it is an 89 jeep that has been through hell from the previouse owner. it made it way longer than I intended it to. I am not joking when I say the amount of money I would have to spend to get it working the way it is supposed to is worth more than the jeep.
If what the guy says is true and he can produce receipts and the odometer works i am in good shape. remember 20 k on the engine and trans. I am hoping he is selling it for the same reason I am selling the rifle, because money is tight. at least if I sell the rifle and part the jeep out I can recover a good bit of that money. if not slightly more.

"174k on the truck itself but the trans and engine only has 20 k" says the guy selling you a truck. Receipts and documentation ftw

Ahh that sucks you couldn't get a deal out of the GMC, sux, it's all good though, at least you found something newer with less miles, good deal.
OH and i read that the GMC had the bfg ko's on it too, sweet, those are going on my truck next week

not so much as get a deal as much as the way he was acting, like he was hiding something. oh well no biggie. The Dodge also got me a discount on insurance because it has air bags, something don't feel right with the brakes I will take it in the shop take a look and go from there. the dealer told us if anything isn't right to let him know and he would take care of it.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
I'd go with a newer jeep. Get into ZJ, I6 lasts for ever and you can get into one for 1500 easy.
