    ellipitcal machine

    this thing just kicked my ass!!! i picked one up used at work for 100 bucks and i had no idea how out of shape my ass is. anybody else use one?

    Yeah, I usually try to do at least 30 min when I go the gym. After the first 5 I'm ready to get off!

    I keep going though, and if I'm really motivated that day I'll do an hour.

    Make sure you guys set the resistance high.

    You're just wasting time if you leave it on level 1 and let the momentum of the disc and foot rests pull your legs back and forth.

    actually when you posted about you losing all that weight a few weeks ago inspired me to look into one of these. i had a friend pick one up for me a couple hours away from craigslist, thanks buddy!!!!

    I have been really bad on the diet end of things. Stayed true to working out though.
    Actually gained 2 pounds over the month. Not a big deal since I started adding a little weight into the routine this month.

    how consistent are you on it? i only stay on it for like 8 minutes at a time since im so out of shape

    I go hard for 30 minutes, cool down for 5.

    Every other day, I lift weights inbetween 35 minute rounds.
