I saw that on TV the other night.

Might be a good way to get a shot of nicotine.

I've been using the gum for over 2 years now

I haven't had a cigarette since 1/2/07. Not even one! But, still buy the gum for the nicotine fix

It's almost as addicting as cigarettes. But, it's not gonna kill me like the cigarettes did my Father...

Try chewing a different gum because i think the nicotine level in the gum is low and not dependent.

Trust me... I have. Gum, candy, etc... And, I know a lot of people who still use the gum years after quiting.

It comes in 2 and 4mg. One of the big problems with the gum and heavy smokers is that they become dependent on the gum very easily. My Pulmonolgist says it's very common. But, he says it's a clean nicotine and very much favorable over cigarettes. What ever it takes... I smoked for 28 years.

Clean meaning the gum doesn't have the other toxins that are found in cigarettes. it is the toxins in cigarette smoke such as tar, lead, cyanide and ammonia that cause smoking related disease and death, rather than the nicotine. But, it's the Nicotine that is addictive...

But, you are absolutely right. I need to stop with the gum too
