Ebay guy calls this 99 GT an LS1 killer!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...34371810QQrdZ1
I was looking for some heads and ran across this 99 GT this guy says is an LS1 killer. He is absolutely, positively, FULL OF SH*T. He said he smoked an 01 Cobra and a 98 Vette, this motherf*cka has lost his mind. I spanked GT's with my 01 Cobra that had supercharger's on 'em. And I know damn well he won't hang with the Z.Heads 'n Cammed, Moser 12, 3.73's, Weight Reduction, 13" Brembo Kit
BMR track suspension, full exhaust, the works...
412whp/394wtq 1/4 mile slip coming soon!
Gone: '01 Laser Red Cobra 3.73's/Full Bolt-ons

What a tool. This is a quote from the guy...
"Disclaimer!
I recommend driving this car barefoot.....the extra weight of your shoes may make the car accelerate to fast!"

engine is ready for boost...but puts out more than a stock gt without it? I would think a low compression engine would be less and since its stock cubes. Anything can happen ona street..a really good gt driver could beat a poor ls1 driver.

i would think he would need a few more mods before he could classify that thing as an "LS1 killer." What was stock for 99, 260 HP at the crank? So he would need 80 HP worth of mods to bring it up to what he says is "340+" Sorry but I don't see 80 HP in his mods. But what do you guys think?
He can confirm it, tho, he said so!

If you rebuild a stock ls1 and forge the bottom end you can easily hit 500NA with a 5.7L and a cam, there's no doubt this thing is putting down at least 340

Even though this car has had extensive work done to increase the Horse Power it has been driven gently by my wife. I can confirm however that the following cars can't keep up
The listed Horse power is a conservative estimate for HP at the crank. I have not had this car on a dyno. If you want to add boost the engine is ready and can handle it.

Getting forged internals isn't cheap. It may be a power adder away from being a very high power machine. Or if he went with that, he may well have gone with altered compression ratios or many other things. I don't think it's a bad deal myself, since bin is under 9k.

These types of comparisons will be made when you are the yardstick by which all others are measured.
