Easy way to get out-the-door quote on a Chevy

My dad needs a new car bad.

However, he HATES dealing with car salesmen at the dealership.

Are there any guys who work at dealerships or others online that can give me a no-nonsense price on a Chevy (probably a Malibu) that is close to as good a deal one could get spending hours haggling with the salemen at the dealership?

For example, I say "Please quote me an out-the-door price on a Malibu, only option we care about is air conditioning", they provide a quote, and if I were to take it down to a dealership they couldn't beat it by more than like $100?

    Thanks for any help.

Try carmax...they don't haggle at all and they also sell new vehicles.

I read some where that you cannot remove the carmax decal or it voids their warranty Is that true? If so I will never buy a car there. Thats the first thing off my car when I buy one. No one get free advertisment from me.

As a carsales rep, I can tell ya how to get your quote. Email the dealership, state just what you just did, about out the door numbers w/ an ac car (make sure to specify color, transmission, and any other options you must have or they will find a way to dick you) and let them know you will be emailing other dealers in the area. That last part is the key. Find out who their closest competitors are (other chevy dealerships) and email them too. One of them will drop to below invoice, maybe even throw in holdback to get the sale. Times are really fuckin touch for the dealerships right now. They will bone eachother to the core to get a sale. Hope this helps, and good luck.

When my mom bought her car I had them agree to remove any dealership decals prior to signing anything. They'll suck your nuts if you're about to put your name on that paper.
