Drunk Driving

I would like to get the word out that a very good friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver back in Oct. of 2007 at the age of 24. I just found out yesterday from going over their house to visit her family and see how they are doing that they have started a website with a petiton to keep their daughters killer in jail. Not only that but the petiton is to also help change the laws and penalties for being convicted of drunk driving. The website is http://www.Justiceforbecky.com on there you will find Becky's story, the lady that hit her driving record which shows multiple accidents and convictions of DUI and Drug charges. And yet with her record was still keeping her license. So if you could please take a moment of your time and look at the site and if you agree with what's there if you wouldn't mind signing the petition. Becky will be missed and never forgotten.

Sorry to hear about the loss. That totally sucks.

In New Jersey the penalties really suck, its whether or not people have the pockets to get really good legal representation. Some people are just alcoholics and can't stop drinking and driving and nothing can stop them. my 2 cents.

yeah that's true and who's to say that if they did pull her license that she would stop driving

I looked at the ladies record, what a disgrace. Im AMAZED she somehow avoided losing her liscense permanently. She either had one hell of a lawyer or was driving illegally constantly. My guess is that lady was rich.

I'm so sorry once again about losing your friend.

thanks for all the support everyone and as far as the comment of the lady being rich it actually turns out that i can't remember if it was her brother and uncle where both high up in the Mt.Laurel police dept. and once one of the lawers starting looking into the ladys backround with her driving record they both resigned from the force.

this lady should be locked up and forced to watch family videos of that girl, and slide shows, and pictures of the accident... make her realise what she did every day... make it so that she can't even sleep any more...
