Dropkick Murphy's and the Bosstones!

Any Dropkicks or Bosstones fans here?

I just got back from a show in Pawtucket RI..... Dropkick Murphy's and the Bosstones played together at a baseball stadium.


AWESOME show! Two of the best live bands out there playing together, it was definitely a great thing to see. I'd always thought the two of them together would make a great show, them being two of Boston's greatest bands, but I never thought I'd be able to see it, especially after the 'tones broke up. SO glad they got back together, they were always one of my favorite bands to see.

Dropkicks were awesome too, but I wish they did more of thier old stuff. They have alot of new fans though... they played a few off 'Do or Die' and I saw a lot of blank faces, I guess they haven't gone back and listened to the original stuff.

Anyone else go to the show?

Ive listen to them before. Street Dogs is another good band. They played at a venue around here when they werent that big. Damn good band.

Yeah, I like the Street Dogs too. Thier lead singer was actually the original singer of the Dropkicks. Pick up 'Do or Die' by DKM, it's Mike McColgan singing.

LOVE DKM.. great OI Oi punk band ...have all the stuff I can find by them .. bet a show is great fun...

I love both bands. I have seen the Bostones play several times. Haven't seen the Dropkick Murphy's live.

I like both bands. I went to Philly in Sept. to see DKM. Great show.
