I enjoyed Micheal Jackson's music as much as anybody. However, trying to say that this Dr. murdered, manslaughtered, whatever MJ while being paid $150000 a month is stupid. I would turn the defense and ask, "Would you kill someone that was paying you $150000 a month?" end of trial. Not guilty.

I do not believe anyone is saying he did it intentionally. I think the accusers are saying it was malpractice. He made a mistake.

There is no judge involved in malpractice. The state's medical board simply takes your license. This was malpractice. There is no question. He should simply have is license removed and given time to reevaluate the way he practices medicine and reconsidered at a later date. The media is making this into a manslaughter trial. The problem is if he does time for malpractice it opens doors for prosecuters to go after physicians for other less obvious charges.

No. There is a Judge involved when there is malpractice that results in death.
Determine criminal intent.
Damages.
Etc.

It's just a case of 'somebody died, somebody has to pay for it' going on here. Hasn't it been reported by many that were close to MJ that he abused these various sleeping aids...? But somebody has to pay, the DAs have to act on these big news making deaths...

Schmalgar for the win! MJ had been a drug abuser for YEARS, this isn't some shit that just happened nor is it the doctor's fault entirely. I'm sure MJ did or said what he had to in order to get the drugs he was accustomed to having. The better question is, who originally started him on this path? The company that was funding MJ's big "comeback" tour were the one's that were paying for the doctor's salary, not MJ or his family.
