the downside of shaving my head...
me and the g/f had a garage sale on saturday, made over 300 bucks, but OH MY GOD i have a HORRIBLE sunburn on my head.
it hurts just to touch, much less try and wash my scalp.
this vitamin e shit has dried all over my head, its hard to get off cuz it hurts so bad to try and touch.
aloe vera i guess is what i need... but im already home and dead tired... how long will it take for this redness/burn to heal?????
HELP!!! Ugh....Last edited by Ice Spiral; 03-06-2006 at 08:44 AM.

The scalp is really nasty to get burned.....and it'll look like the salt flats in a few days. If you don't have a hat, i'd buy one and wear it when it stops hurting.

been there... SUN SCREEN... especially when it is still at that grey stage... you know what im talking about...
it really sucks when you try to sleep on it... and you can forget about trimming it for like a week or more... and thats long enoguht that your razor wont cut it it just pulls it out... good luck with that...
-me
but try wrapping a cool cloth around it to pull some heat out... it will atleast feel better...

I just started shaving miine Dec 27th. I love it. But then I have not had a chance to burn it.
The hard part is the cold. I wear skull caps or winter caps inside on really cold days.
I hope not be like you and fry my knoggin.

If you go to the store and look next to the suntan lotion you will find an Aloe based lotions that takes the sting out.
