the downside of shaving my head...

me and the g/f had a garage sale on saturday, made over 300 bucks, but OH MY GOD i have a HORRIBLE sunburn on my head.

it hurts just to touch, much less try and wash my scalp.

this vitamin e shit has dried all over my head, its hard to get off cuz it hurts so bad to try and touch.

aloe vera i guess is what i need... but im already home and dead tired... how long will it take for this redness/burn to heal?????

    HELP!!! Ugh....

The scalp is really nasty to get burned.....and it'll look like the salt flats in a few days. If you don't have a hat, i'd buy one and wear it when it stops hurting.

been there... SUN SCREEN... especially when it is still at that grey stage... you know what im talking about...

it really sucks when you try to sleep on it... and you can forget about trimming it for like a week or more... and thats long enoguht that your razor wont cut it it just pulls it out... good luck with that...

    -me

but try wrapping a cool cloth around it to pull some heat out... it will atleast feel better...

Damn Dude I have been there. The first time I shaved my head it got fried it looked like burnt to a crisp bacon and it started the whole ouzing thing. I have had it shaved for over 2 years this time and I always stay in the sun or with a hat on. You'll learn.

I just started shaving miine Dec 27th. I love it. But then I have not had a chance to burn it.
The hard part is the cold. I wear skull caps or winter caps inside on really cold days.

I hope not be like you and fry my knoggin.

HAHAHAHAHA, and people look at you like what the hell is wrong with you, freakin nasty bastard. I miss the ease of being bald, but I by no means biss the sunburn, I NEVER wore a hat. Ewwwww to the green goo, and when you have a little hair and it dries up in there when you're in the sun again and gets all stuck. . .ewwww

If you go to the store and look next to the suntan lotion you will find an Aloe based lotions that takes the sting out.
