the companies use '60' instead of 'sixty' leading me to believe its the original, not the cheesy remake.

Try a Google search. It's available on DVD in at least a half-dozen spots.

The real problem is finding one with the original sountrack. It's been redone at least a couple of times. Expect to pay big $$$ (least I saw was $60) for one of those.
