The Dog thread
Dedicated for our four legged family members. Lets just post pics and kinda keep it for help and questions that may come up.
I'll start...Here's Stormy
Has anyone done the "clicker method" in training their dog? How hard was it to do and does the training work?

She's a really pretty red
I guess this would be the place to say this... My Chloe was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in February. It kind of came out of nowhere. I had her teeth cleaned last October and the Vet said that she had a heart murmur. She asked if Chloe had been coughing at all, which she hadn't. She said to keep on eye on her. 2 months later, she started coughing. Little bitty cough here and there. Then by Feb, she was coughing more and with congestion.
We started her on meds. Had an ultrasound done on 4/1 and upped her meds.
She is on meds for the rest of her life now and a low sodium home made diet. I'm hoping to keep her as comfortable as possible for as long as possible Wish us luck.

Thank you. Yes she is. She turned 11 last January. She's been with me since the moment she was born and my constant companion ever since. She means a great deal to me.

I need to take some new pictures of mine. Hard to get many action shots since he's asleep most of the time. Was out in the garage last weekend and a car pulled in the drive to turn around. He never even looked up from his nap. Then he spends all night walking around the house keeping me awake every time he comes into the room and falls his big ass into the floor. I think I might be familiar with the "clicker method" if the click you're talking about refers to the sound your shoe laces make against the shoe right before you throw it across the room.

Dog lovers understand. It's been tough to be sure. I'm hoping for more "good days" with her. The meds have helped her quite a bit. Wouldn't it be grand if we could all just die of old age and in our sleep
But, my boys are a good distraction because they are still just as crazy and entertaining as ever I love my dogs

As an hour ago we've had Bella a year. Still doesn't care for heights. Not happy out on the deck here in OBX but at least no pneumonia this year's vacation
