    Angry Dog dying !!!

Well we"ve had papillion"s for some time and already had one die for no reason , had a seizure or something. We bought another that we found out had a liver shunt. Baasically the liver doesnt function properly to get rid of toxins. She has been getting medicine 3 times day for 2 years. They didnt expect her to live this long. Recently she has been acting weird, stomach bloat and otjer things. Went to the vet, specialist and anybody we can. They were also were surprised she lasted this long but at this point said she probably only has about a month. You would never know it how spunky, playfull and happy she seems to be. People love their kids, we love our dogs. Im in a state of shock and depression at the same time. Seems as though everything has gone wrong lately and now this. Anyway just wanted to vent and share, thanks for listening.

Time to put the dog down man, Sorry to hear it. If I knew my dog only had a month I'd just go ahead and take care of it... That is only if the Animal is suffering

Exactly what I was going to say.

The dog has suffered enough bro...don't be selfish and keep it around just so you don't have to be sad. I've had many dogs die and as hard as it was and still is i've always put them down instead of just continuing their pain. I still miss my rott Smokey and choke up just thinking about him to this very day. If I was you i'd say your good bye's, give him a kick ass last meal and bring him in. Most vets will allow you to be with the dog as he passes. If you love it you'll do the right thing..

    +1.
That is only if the dog is in pain, I have had to put down a few - I still get a lump in my throat when I think of Lacy. She was a faun colored Dobie... God I miss that dog..Dammit .. There we go again.

Very sorry to hear this....I love my dog, she's part of the family. I've lost dogs before, and it's very hard, so I really sympathize with you. Both of mine that passed were suddenly, I don't know if it's worse to know in advance or not.

Sorry about your dog. That sucks I put my Lab down 2 years ago still miss her. But I know she didn't deserve to suffer. Hard to do but I know it was the right thing to do.

Shes not in pain that we know of and acts normal mostr of the time, we"ll just wait and see wht happens and if the time comes we"ll put her to rest.
