Does this sound right...

I think this guy was BSing me but we will find out this weekend. He says he got an 04 cobra with pullies, exhuast, ecu, twin screw supercharger with 20 lbs of boost. and of course M6. 477 to the wheels?

I am thinking that that is way too much boost for the stock injectors to handle and if those were its real mods, wouldnt it be pushing a lot more power?

20 PSI? If that is true, something is wrong.

Although, pulley, exhaust, headers, tune can see 475RWHP with those cars.

I was thinking it would make more hp then that if it really had those mods, so you guys think that at 20psi the motor should blow right?

it may push it but it would be lean as hell. inother words, no fucking way.

besides, with a twin screw and 20 pounds he would be putting around 650-700 to the wheels, blower dependant. if hes only making 475 with that boost he is doing a whole lot wrong. they make that with a pulley catback and tune. probably on 10 psi or alittle more. and the factory blower is a roots style, a far cry from a twin screw.

Yea thats what I was thinking that it would produce atleast 600hp but I wasnt sure I didnt want to sound like a dumbass and announce it till I hear atleast one other person say it thanks man, I guess im not crazy after all lol

if he has a twin screw and hes only pushing 477 at the wheels thers something really wrong with his car. specially with that much boost. i've seen cars with the eaton blower pushing 525 to as high as 541 at the wheels.
the stock injectors are 39lbs, when they use the whipples and KB blowers they use 42 lbs and higher.

ecu? thats ricer talk right there. extremely blatant. just like saying your car is fast because you have a chip.

I am still waiting, yea he says its a real terminator, I can't wait till this thursday so we can see the car. Yes he is a ricer, he use to think that his V6 mustang was fast (body kit, neons, systems, so yea slower then stock, he couldnt even install his own intake)
I remember when he look at a real saleen that he was going to buy. I went to the dealership to look at it, i found the GT he thought was a saleen, it just had the saleen body and paint no supercharger, he was telling me that when he looked at it had a supercharger plus he heard it "spool" up lol
This weekend he is going to get so embarrassed
