a rip off at under 5k? Theres obviously some sort of a story behind why that car is so cheap, why it isnt even listed as a 35th anni car, and why theres no mention of the unusual combination underhoood. My guess is at least the underhood shot pictured in the ad is over an engine with some sort of power adder. its got a truck accessory drive set up from the looks of, and the intake tubing goes all the way down into what looks like the fender. Scornful wife selling the car?

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Don't know whether its a scam or not, but its definitely a turbo LS1. You can see the gauges on the a-pillar and the alternator was relocated to the top to make room for the turbo. You can see the plumbing for the turbo and the intercooler. A buddy of mine had his alternator relocated to the top just like this one to make room for his turbo. Might be a scam, could also be a pissed off wife or hubby in a divorce trying to stick it to the other spouse like Stanger mentioned. For the price, its worth looking into.

388 rwhp & 370 rwtq- 2001 Camaro SS #847
Hi,
The car is available. Here is the car info: 8,700 miles, like new condition, no scratches, no dents, accident-free, clear title. There are no lien or loan on the car and I'm the registered owner with the title in hand. You will receive all the documents, including the title signed over to your name.
As you probably noticed, the price is rather low: $4,750. I'm going through a bitter divorce and unfortunately it's forcing me to sell it under market value.
The car is located in Northbrook, IL in my garage. A friend of mine is a DAS employee and he can deliver the car anywhere in the US for a really good price. You will have the car in front of your house in 3 to 7 days, depending on your exact location. You will also have 5 days to inspect the vehicle. If, by any reason, the car is not as described, or if you find any problems with it, I will pay for the returning fees. I'm sure it won't be the case because it's a state of art vehicle inside and out.
If you want to reserve the car for you, I need your details (name,address..)
Sincerely, Steve Turnure
