I just take pictures. You're also about the only other one here that doesn't use an outdoor oven to grill with.

I haven't made one yet but I will one of these days. Most you see are just a 55 gallon drum cut in half then you have to build a firebox on the side of it. There are plans all over the web for smokers. I use a chargriller pro but I've also been known to smoke on just a plain weber grill too. The weber grills are great little grills and very versatile. The drawback is if you're using them to smoke you have to build the fire on one side and put the meat on the other which seriously cuts down on the amount of meat you can smoke at one time.

Yeah, this isn't some kind of crazy 'gonna feed the neighborhood' kind of thing. We'd probably try a couple racks of ribs here and there. Doing about 4 racks total would probably be the most, depends on how good we can do it .

that's a pretty cool set up. They make smokers out of just about anything you can imagine. One of these days I'll make my own and when we move in a couple of years I'm going to build a big one out of bricks at the next house.

    13. I own about four guns and three knives/swords for each of her years of age, plus several shovels, a strong back, and enough land to bury a body that won't be found in my lifetime.

    Just in case.

made chicken yesterday... put it in my slow cooker for 4 hours with butter, beer, onions, celery, and of course some water... took it out (pain in hte ass to keep it all together cause the meat was so damned tender) and put it on some foil... coverred it in some rotisserie seasoning and put it on my grill on high for 5 minutes... the skin got nice and crisp while the meat inside was juicy and tender... NOM!!!

I made a HUGE pot of chicken and dumplin's yesterday. I've been craving them lately. I also made some peach and strawberry turnovers like my mom used to make with pie filling and rolled out bisquits.
