Do you let somebody else drive ur car?

i just got a 2000 m6 ss about 2 months ago and everybody i know asks me the same question "Can i drive it?" and i always answer "no!" How many of u guys let other people drive ur cars?

Hardly ever! i prefer nobody drives my car but me, but..

Had to let the girlfriend borrow it because her car(03 gt bolton) was waiting for a tire to come in (brand new tire had an egg in it). She drove it around for about a week. I was nervous. But she was fine. She said it rode a lot rougher but was much quicker. ha.

Still would rather her not drive it!. lol

My wife drives my car to the store if i take her's to work (better gas mileage)

I've only had one friend that i let drive my cars, but that is because he is an extremely good driver and has lots of experience driving fast cars, and i'm not talking "he is a good driver" like the ricers do, this guy actually can drive very good. I've been 130+mph in the car with him driving many times and it didn't bother me a bit. I gave him the keys to my camaro one night and he raced against me driving my buick. (poor camaro)

I let my father drive the camaro once, but he didn't get stupid in it.

I let my Mom drive it every now and then but other than her, no one else does.

Ive let a few people drive it, but only people i trust. My mechanic drove it at the track and ran it almost a full second faster then me...

I don't have a problem with anyone driving my car. My ex used to drive it around alot, and I tried to get her to race people so many times, but she was way too scared. She loved riding shotgun though and goin out lookin for races.

my friend that bought my t/a lets me drive it... but im the only one... only one that knows the car i guess... know it better than him right now

For years I wouldnt let my wife drive my car esp. if it was new. I then said what the heck. She came in crying one morning and I asked her what happened. Well she had it in reverse instead of drive and backed into the garage. I thought it was funny. Whatcha gonna do?

i would let the boys drive my car, because well....they have the same cars and theirs are faster haha so if they cant handle mine shame on them.

My wife drives the car but we bought it together and it's as much hers as it is mine. I have let my brother in-law borrow it once for Prom.

My car is not really driver friendly
manual brakes
manuel steering.
but really fun going in a straight line
so the wife is afraid she might crash it.
I guess I might be lucky in that aspect.

1) Are they are responsible driver
2) Do they have at least $500 for my deductible if they put 'er sideways into something
3) Do I like this person

If the answer to those three questions are yes then I do.

i gave my mum driving lessons in my car, cos the sitting position was better for her than in my g/f's explorer. she's really short and it was a priceless sight!

otherwise, yes, selected people drive it from time to time (including my girlfriend).

only if they own an fbody and i've known them long enough. Probably let 5 or so people drive my cars.

My dad drives mine sometimes.

My girlfriend drives it when I'm drunk.

And in the 3 years I've owned it, my mom drove it just yesterday for the first time.

She told me to sell it, and that she thinks she needs therapy now.
