Apple's commercials are incredibly annoying. They insult their customers by presenting them as the biggest idiots ever and yet they still buy their overpriced trendy crap.

anything apple is a god damn ripoff. i can buy anything sony for half the price with the same technology as an apple product

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Apple's user interfaces have always been very good. The ipod and iphone are very easy to use. That's their biggest strength. There are of course alternatives that would offer a similar experience. I imagine that 90% of the people who buy Apple's products make no effort to research other products and by on name/image alone, because if you aren't rocking those white ear buds you just aren't cool.

i HATE ipods. i think they suck and are complicated as fuck, and they suck compared to what you can buy for those prices. maybe half price is an exaggeration, but you can literally get twice the space on an mp3 player made by sony or something else compared to an ipod.

You don't have to do that though. You buy the phone off ebay and unlock it to use on other carriers.

Not True, if your phone has a Sim Card, you can still use it....My buddy Unlocks them with no problem. He even unlocked my phone even though, I was already At&t customer. I just didn't want to spend the $30 Activation fee.
