Not knowing you personally I would call you a dumb ass still. What is "not trying" to drink and drive. You either do it or not. I have to dealwith the drunks from the trailers and shit houses off to the sides of the two lanes going to my neighborhood. No lights on, their whole car in your half of the road, weaving etc. Scary as shit. If i'm going to die in car it damn well better have been a mechanical failure while I was having fun. Not some butt fuck deciding he's still sober enough to drive.

Here in Florida it used to be legal to drink & drive as long as you wern't drunk.
Many bars even had drive up windows.
Well my car always knew the way home, so I always let the car drive when I was drunk.
Learned to keep the right eye shut so I could see only one lane & in case a cop rolled up on the left, & he wouldn't see my one eye closed.

These days, two's the limit, & three's plenty when I'm out.

when you work at a golf course/bar, you sometimes have to when you work those late nights, but your driving a golf cart so, no fatalities yet

let me ask you.....why even risk it? if you "only have a few" then drive, whats the point of only having a few. was the 4 beers worth killing someone? on long island 2 years ago there was a famous case where a guy got on the exit ramp on the parkway and drove into a limo coming home from a wedding. the flower grl sat in the front seat with the limo driver and was decapitated from the impact. her mother, still in shock, sat on the side of the road with her head in her lap not knowing the rest of her body was 60 feet away. remember that the next time you want to have a few and then get behind the wheel

used too when I was young and dumb....now it's not worth it. I don't drive even after having 1 beer. I don't even drink 1 unless I have a ride home.

People drunked up here always go up the wrong way ramp on the highways and kill sombody

I'm a light weight drinker. I don't drive a car period until sober. Or idiotically get into a car with the "least drunk person driving "

I got to participate in a training exercise with a state highway patrol and help train them on perfecting their sobriety tests..

Basically the Highway Patrol invited a bunch of us to their academy.. and gave us a ton of booze.. made sure to breathalize us.. then the class went in groups and tested us all.. I was a real light weight then.. i believe it was 6 drinks in 2 hours.. and i was still under .08

But i did fail a bunch of their tests so from then on.. i might have a few beers but i make sure there is PLENTY of time before i get on the road.

The sight of someone carrying the body of a lifeless child away from a crash scene should be enough to make people stop and think about getting behind the wheel drunk. Sadly though it is not....

not in my trans am. If I drove my saturn and have been trickoried into drinking and something happens where we absolutely must go, then still no. I've only done it once.
