I have an automatic cuz my Johnson is bigger than a pencil and I wanted to be the quickest between two points. Say like a 1/4 mile.

Silver- 2002 Trans AM
Wanted a M6 at first, but got an a4
My budget was $27,000 in March 2002 I went to a Chevy dealer and they said they have 02 z28 M6 in metallic blue coming in a week for $26,000. They asked for a $500 non-refundable deposit until the car gets there. I told him I don’t want to put any money on a car until I see it. So a week and a half pass by and go back and the asshole said it was sold on the way to the stealership.....but.....he said there is another one...in fact identical one coming in again the following week....and now they wanted $27,000 for it....So i said FUCK YOU and left.
Same day I went to a Pontiac Dealership and asked them if they have any Formulas available. They said no, but i can make an order for the car and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to manufacture and deliver from Canada’s plant. So I ordered a 02 Metallic Blue Formula M6 with every package except a CD changer for $26,500. Even with the WS6 17in Rims. I gave them $2,000 deposit. 3 to 4 weeks later sometime in April, the dealer called me and said they GM cancelled my order, because they are not taking anymore manufacturing orders and i can come in to collect my $2,000 deposit.
So being desperate as I was, I opened the phone book and called every Chevy and Pontiac dealers in NY area. Every Chevy dealer I called I asked if they had a Z28 M6 and they said no, the only M6 they had was the SS and the price was $31,000. Every Pontiac dealer i called the only M6 cars they had was WS6's that start at $36,000 and CETA's that started $43,000+
The prices were ridicules once GM stopped taking orders. To I got to letter M in the phone book. Malstrom Pontiac in Long Island. They had 2 Trans Am's one in Silver and the other on in Black. Pretty much identical except exterior color and both were A4's they wanted $29,000 for it
At this point I just gave in. i went there and bought the Silver T/A witch I am very happy with. Even if it’s A4. Also next to the T/A's there was a CETA with a price tag of $45,000. lol
Even though I am on my 5th 4L60E lol, I still enjoy Bracket racing. and I am very consistent with it.
Oh and I would probably never achieve 1.47 60 foot if I had a M602 T/A AUTO Metalic Silver. 07 YARIS 5sp 40mpg BABY .
